Singer Wycliffe Tugume aka Ykee Benda today marks 5 years ever since his music started gracing the Ugandan airwaves.
The Mpaka records CEO started out with his Muna Kampala song in 2016 and the rest has been history
The singer has managed to register tremendous success in these five years.
Among these include a record label having a fully furnished studio and video recording company.
The self styled “boy so tender on every girl’s agenda” has also two studio albums in that time frame, Kireka boy and the latest, Kirabo album.
Ykee Benda in the same time has also been able to represent Uganda at the Coke studio in Nairobi and stage a highly successful concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
His tasted part of the international success too after featuring in one of the Coke songs that were part of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
He’s also collaborated with a number of continental stars such as Tekno Miles and Reekado Banks all from Nigeria.
He’s not only concentrated on his career but also the upcoming musicians with Dre Cali as the most vivid example.
His bank account has also fattened with a number of endorsements such as Prudential Uganda and Centenary bank.
