Willian’s goal gifts Frank Lampard first CL win as a couch

Willian’s goal inspires Chelsea’s 2-1 victory over Lille in their Group H Uefa Champions League encounter. Lille has lost 1-2 to Chelsea Football Club to give Frank Lampard his first CL win as head coach. Willian’s goal helped the North London Club crash Lille on Wednesday in the Champions League.

Tammy Abraham scored the opener making it his eighth goal of the season to put the blues in the lead at half time. But Victor Osimhen leveled matters before the break with his seventh goal for the League 1 side.

Kepa Arrizabalaga made a couple of saves in the second half to keep the Blues in the game. It was not game over yet until Willian scored a beautiful volley from Hudson-Odoi’s cross to put Chelsea ahead. This got Frank Lampard’s side off the mark in Group H.
