Did you even have a clue that Rema Namakula’s husband Dr. Hamza Sebunya bought Almeca hospital located in Jinja City? Yes, he did according to our news sources, Dr. Hamza decided to try out another venture in the area he understands most. This information leaked after the couple had traveled to Dubai for their birthday celebrations… Well, surprisingly, social media in-laws backed up Dr. Hamza’s brilliant idea of setting up a hospital. This is because they believe will help to improve the health service delivery in Jinja City and the rest of other parts of the country
Back then in 2018, a section of leaders in Jinja District petitioned the Ministry of Health (MOH) to buy it off. In addition with a planned move to make it a district facility to serve the people of Jinja better… Almeca Hospital is found in Kyamaggwa Village in Mafubira Sub-County, and this was formerly owned by Butembe County MP Nelson Lufafa.
“Well, for someone to see me from any angle is okay because I may not be so much differentiated from entertainment given the fact that my wife is an artist which I don’t condemn… However, it doesn’t take it away from me that I am a professional, therefore you can what you want so long you can handle it… In fact, it is a privilege that I have decided to invest in my line of profession. I and my wife have a lot of plans for Almeca Hospital because ideally, we are extending services for example maternal-child health.
I developed interest to buy the facility in Jinja because I looked at the business aspect and the service delivery in jinja. Also, since Jinja is a city now really makes someone invest their monies in Jinja rather than Kampala. I want to assure the people of Uganda that we are going to set up other branches of Almeca Hospital in other parts of the country.
