Uganda U-20 Women: Khalifa impressed with the team’s progress

The Uganda U-20 Women’s National Team Coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi is happy with the way players have responded to the training at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende.

On Wednesday, the team trained at Kitende for the first time before South Africa game on Friday 3rd December 2021.

Head coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi was left impressed by the swift response of the players in training.

“The players have responded well in training. The focus is all set to the game against South Africa,” Khalifa said.

“We want to win and we have the home advantage.”

“The team will try to get the right players and formations on the day so that we can get a home win,” he added.

The team will once again train at the same facility on Thursday, 2nd December 2021.

Meanwhile, the South African delegation is already in the country.
