Mivule appeared in a Facebook Live after his show and left a message for his followers… Below is what the veteran journalist said…

“I want to let you know that security personnels have surrounded this building where I am right now. However, I am no frightened to get out of this place because I belong to this country. In addition, I have a right to fight for my freedom therefore I will die on my job as a bulb. Therefore my fellow Ugandans, don’t cry for me however, you need to cry for yourselves. I also need to lecture you that we as journalists are doing our job because we report what we see. Therefore I can’t just keep quiet if see something happen,” Basajja Mivule said.
