NRM wins Kayunga LC5 by-election, NUP Rejects results.

National Resistance Movement party candidate Andrew Muwonge has won Kayunga LC5 by-election with 31,830 votes against closest rival and NUP candidate Harriet Nakweede’s 31,308 votes, according to the results announced by the electoral commission on Friday Morning.

However, National Unity Platform leader Robert Kyagulani rejected the results citing election fraud.

“In broad day light, Museveni robs the victory of the people, and declares his candidate in Kayunga! Despite the stuffing and all manner of rigging, the signed DR forms give us a 15,000 votes lead. Ugandans will have to decide the next course of action,” Bobi Wine Said.
