Female singer Hajarah Namukwaya popularly known as Spice Diana bagged an international award to prove why she’s not made for local awards.
The Upendo singer clinched the award for Best Female Artist Of the Year East, North and South Africa.
This was in the 7th edition of the African Entertainment Awards USA (AEAUSA).
The awards which were held virtually were hosted by Nancy E. Isime and Idris Sultan.
Spice Diana was a guest performer and couldn’t contain her excitement over the win.
She recently lost out the Afrimma award in the same category a few weeks ago.
Spice Diana has however been making the headlines after her recent losses in the local awards.
She went on a rant accusing local award organizers of being biased and unprofessional.
This saw her clash with a number of stakeholders and her followers alike accusing her of being bitter over award losses.
She further threatened to sue anyone who nominates her in the local awards again without her consent.
She was not the only winner as Eddy Kenzo bagged the same award in the male category weeks after winning the Afrimma award for the same category.
Beenie Gunter, B2C and Douglas Lwanga were the other nominated Ugandans in the awards.
