The Dutch came back stronger after half time, scoring two times in seven minutes with Frenkie De Jong in the 59th and a Jonathan Tah’s own goal.

Germany leveled with a harshly-awarded 73rd minute Toni Kroos penalty. However, the visitors got back into the game striking through Donyell Malen in the 79th minute.

The result leaves Germany on nine points from four games in the group C. Three behind leaders Northern Ireland, who they face on Monday in Belfast. The Dutch move up to six points from three games. This leaves Germany to really work so hard in their upcoming fixtures. Above all Netherlands was a better team to watch.
