Nabbi Omukazi demands Ugx730m from Abs TV - Pastor Jengo warns her

Faded singer and late pastor Augustine Yiga’s ex-girlfriend Maggie Kayima alias Nabbi Omukazi has openly come out to demand UGX 730m from ABS TV. The singer claims that pastor Yiga did not pay her after using her voice without her permission.

The faded singer therefore through her lawyers Nalukoola, Kakeeto Advocates, and Solicitors has let out a notice to sue ABS Television. In addition, for using her voice in an audio logo of the TV… Well, if you have watched ABS all through, I am pretty sure that you have heard a voice sounding like “Olimukulaba Television AS, Ekuwumuza Ebirowoozo”. This simply means “You are watching ABS Television, that relaxes/refreshes your mind”.

Hmm, its now barely a month since pastor yiga Augustine Abizaayo passed on, however, it seems the man of God is still alive.

“Ever since the inauguration of ABS’s televised broadcast, it has with impunity used our client’s voice demo as its broadcasting voice logo without clearance for its digital use/consent from her whatsoever or even providing attribution to her as the creator for the content and or having right over her creative work,” the notice read.

“Well, I surely don’t have time for useless things because honestly speaking Nabbi Omukazi is looking for relevancy… Therefore I have asked the company lawyer to take care of everything… My father [Pastor Yiga] first of all never revealed to me whether she was his wife or my mother… Hmm, so I have no idea about what she is trying to chase… Meanwhile, that’s not a big issue…,” pastor Andrew Jengo said.
