While announcing the death of his aunt, President Yoweri Museveni has advised them to carry out Burial a scientic burial while in observance of Covid-19 restrictions. When imposing the current lockdown, he limited the number of people to attend burials to only 20.
“Only very few people have been requested to conduct the burial in accordance with the COVID-19 regulations. The relatives, acquaintances, and friends, are requested not to try and congregate at the burial because it is dangerous and has no value addition,” President Museveni tweeted.
According to the president, a video recording has been organized to be shared with other people who may not be able to attend the Burial due to the strict restrictions.
“A video recording of the burial will be done and shared with all concerned.,” he added.
“We praise the Lord Almighty for her long life. May her soul rest in eternal peace. This is to inform all relatives, friends, acquaintances, and the NRM fraternity,” he said.
Kaaka Jiresi Keminagano, a paternal aunt to the president aged 97 died on Saturday night at Nakasero and will be laid to rest on Monday in Rwakitura.
