President Museveni will tomorrow Wednesday 28th September 2022 make a televised national address about the growing outbreak of Ebola.
This address will also be broadcast on all radio stations in the country at exactly 8pm.
There are also other issues of national importance that President Museveni will address according to the official statement released by the Presidential Press Unit.
“The Presidential Press Unit- PPU wishes to inform the general public that H.E the President of the Republic of Uganda and Commander-in-Chief of the Uganda People’s Defense Forces, Gen (Rtd) Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will address the nation on the outbreak of Ebola and other important national issues this Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 8.00pm.”
“The National address will be live on all radios and TV stations.
Accordingly, the Uganda Communications Commission is hereby called upon to communicate to all the media houses across the country to air this address,” the statement read.
Ebola has so far been confirmed in three districts including Mubende, Kyegegwa and Kasanda.
The Ministry of Health statistics indicate that 23 people have so far died from the Ebola-Sudan strain.
18 are reported to be having the disease while 18 are probable cases.

Meanwhile a number of SOP’s are already in plac to prevent people from catching the disease.
