Mauro Icardi is reportedly ‘open’ to leaving Paris Saint-Germain for Juventus.
And it has also been claimed he has already spoken to the Turin side’s newly-appointed coach Max Allegri.
PSG have invested heavily in their squad this summer as they continue to chase the so far elusive Champions League crown.
Italy’s Euro 2020 hero Gianluigi Donnarumma is the latest arrival from AC Milan and he follows Inter full-back Achraf Hakimi.
Mauro Icardi, 28, joined from Inter himself in 2019 after initially being linked with Juventus.
Mauro Icardi on the move
There is believed to be a clause in that package that means PSG would have to cough around £12 million.
This will be paid to the San Siro club should they offload the Mauro Icardi to another Serie A club.
That was allegedly to try and prevent a future move to Juventus.
But the speculation of their interest in him has never gone away.
Now with Allegri back at the helm, it is mounting once again in French media.
Footmercato claims Allegri has already spoken to Icardi’s entourage in recent days.
He told them he ‘would love to have’ Mauro Icardi with him in Turin.
And his wife Wanda Nara has also added to the rumours on social media.
She dropped a huge hint a switch could be on the horizon by sharing a snap of her wearing a zebra-striped top.
The top was similar to the Juve logo.
She captioned it with: “I toast for me, for what is coming this year and for you.”
Mauro Icardi grabbed 13 goals and produced six assists in his 28 competitive appearances for PSG last season.
