The former NUP boss, Moses Kibalama has disowned a video that went viral last week in which he appeared accusing Bobi Wine of not fulfilling his pledge to pay him five million dollars.
While appearing before the civil division of the High Court in Kampala, Kibalama also denied the allegations of selling the party to Bobi Wine.
“I am not aware of it( the video recording). I was not selling any political party. There is no supermarket where political parties are sold,” Kibalama told Court.
The 59-year-old Kibalama, who has been missing since last week also confirmed to the court that he has been under state protection in Mbale.
He also told Court that he called by the Chief of Defence Forces, Gen. David Muhoozi for a meeting about the changes in NUP leadership.
