Khalid Aucho joins Tanzania’s Yanga Soccer Club

Renowned Ugandan footballer and Cranes midfielder Khalid Aucho has signed to join Tanzanians’ Yanga Africans Soccer Club.

While speaking to the media, Aucho informed that he had singed a two year contract with the team hence adding him to the team as they prepare to represent Tanzania in the CAF Championships.

During the 2020/21 Tanzania Premium League, Young Africans S.C  came second in the Tanzanian Premium League hence qualifying her alongside Simba S.C to participate in CAF.

Also, one of the club’s official Hersi informed that in deed the team was excited to sign a new play whom they believe is a positive addition to the team which will help them earn more trophies for the team.

“We believe Aucho brings to the team something special. We are still building and signing more players,” said the club official while speaking of the new addition to the team.

Prior to this, Aucho departed from the Egyptian Premium League, Misr Lel Makkasa following his last week expiry of the two year contract that he had signed with the team.

He has been signed to a number of clubs over the past years as some of them may include Tusker FC, Gor Mahia F.C in Kenya, Serbia’s Red Star Belgrade, East Bengal and Churchill Brother of India.
