Nakawa West Constituency legislature Joel Ssenyonyi has officially taken over the leadership of The Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises (COSASE) following his approval by Parliament.
“Investigating corruption in Government entities is no piece of cake, I’m told it’s even risky. However, God is by my side. I’ll give this role my best & I believe together with colleagues on the committee, we’ll deliver,” Ssenyonyi said upon upon approval.
Ssenyonyi, who also serves as The National Unity Platform spokesperson will among other duties be tasked with examining reports and audited accounts of Statutory Authorities, Corporations and Public Enterprises.
Upon approval, National Unity Platform general Secretary, David Lewis Rubongoya congratulated Joel Ssenyonyi and urged him to exhibit good governance in the new position.
