Express FC secured their maiden Cecafa Kagame Cup title with a 1-0 win over Malawian outfit Nyasa Big Bullets FC.
The game was played on Saturday at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium in Dar-es-Saalam, Tanzania.
Winger Martin Kizza scored the lone goal in the game.
Nyasa Big Bullets started off with possessing the ball more but the Red Eagles kept calm.
They won every possession although they didn’t make it count in the final third.
The moment of truth for Express FC came just 22 minutes into the game when Muzamiru Mutyaba won possession.
He crossed to Erick Kambale on the right flank who connected well with Martin Kizza.
Kizza made no mistake squeezing his effort past the near post to make it 1-0.
