Leone Island boss Dr Jose Chameleone has become the latest big musician to endorse musician Mansour Ssemanda aka King Saha for the UMA presidency.
Through his Facebook page, Chameleone said that he believes Saha will speak for the voiceless and help to uplift the stunted music industry.
“Manifest Uganda Music far and beyond!!
May God lead and we follow.
I, With my Vote for you believes that your leadership will fairly represent the unheard voices. Both upcoming and existing art. Build more bridges.
Good Luck Mansoor,” Dr Jose Chameleon said.
Saha who got nominated on Monday for the position will be taking on the incumbent Cindy.
The Biri Biri singer however seems the favorite to clinch the place as he’s got backing from some of the biggest artists.
The likes of Bobi Wine, Sheebah Karungi, Spice Diana, Apass, Ykee Benda, Gravity Omutujju among others have all endorsed Saha.
It’s only Bebe Cool who came out to criticize and vow not to vote Saha because he’s a wrong image for the industry.
