COVID-19 Update Today – Uganda Records 86 New Cases


Our News team has brought for the latest COVID-19 Update Today. The ministry of health has registered 86 new coronavirus cases on Friday bringing the total number of the country’s cases to 4,377.

The ministry of health has also registered one COVID-19 deaths in Kampala.

According to the ministry of health, Today’s Confirmed cases are all from contacts and alerts.


Among the 86 new coronavirus cases, 36 are from Kampala, 15 are from Gulu, seven are from Mukono, 12 are from Moroto. Lira has five, Wakiso has four, Kitgum has two, Lamwo has two while Buliisa, Oyam and Zombo have one case each of today’s COVID-19 positives.

“One Kenyan truck driver arrived via Goli point of entry and tested positive for COVID-19. Therefore, he was not permitted to enter the country,” the ministry of health said.
