Africell Uganda has boosted the fight against the deadly COVID-19 after donating 3 brand new pickup trucks to the Ministry of Health. The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) acting executive director joined Mr Ziad Daoud, the Africell Uganda CEO. In addition, to hand over the donated pickup trucks to the Ministry of Health through its Permanent secretary Diana Atwiine.

“On behalf of the National Taskforce, Diana Atwiine received a donation from Africell Uganda of 3 brand new Tata Xenon pickup trucks. In addition, and 1 tonne of posho, 1 tonne of rice and 1 tonne of soya beans to help support the COVID-19 response activities,” MOH tweeted.
We as Cyclone Times Uganda thank all those that have given in their donations to support the COVID-19 response team throughout the country. Also, we thank the NRM government and the Ministry of Health for putting uptight control measures to help reduce the widespread of the virus around the country.
