Nigerian singers Ruger and Adekunle Gold are set to become the first international singers to brace the country after the lid on entertainment centres is lifted.
The concerts will however be different in terms of dates with Ruger set to come before and Adekunle later on.
This was revealed by Sheila Gashumba who will be the mastermind behind the two concerts.
“So we are gonna bring Ruger on 30th January which will be a Sunday because we do VIPs, sort of parties because that’s what I specialize in. He will perform but like for tables and lounges not concerts.”
“We also have Adekunle as well and are already in talks with the management. We agreed and just need to confirm the dates. He was actually supposed to come before Ruger crossing just from Tanzania where he will be in two weeks from now but we pushed it to a later date,” Sheila said while appearing on the NBS After 5.
Ruger is currently one of the top singers in Africa currently with hits such as Dior, Snapchat and Bounce.
Adekunle on the other hand needs no mention as he’s a household item allover Africa.
Entertainment centers are expected to be opened 2 weeks after learners go back to school.
This is the condition that was set by President Museveni while delivering his end of the year address and reopening the economy updates.
